The Hood River Watershed Action Plan identifies cooperative projects, strategies and priorities to improve water quality and fish and wildlife habitat in the Hood River Watershed. The Watershed Action Plan is part of a statewide strategy to address endangered species and water pollution concerns using locally developed solutions. The Hood River Watershed Group is currently undertaking a review of the Hood River Watershed Action Plan which was originally completed in June of 2002. As required by the State of Oregon, the Plan must be reviewed and updated every five years. Watershed Coordinator Steve Stampfli began this review and update process in 2007 and is finalizing it at this time. With a draft written, we are ready for your review!
